Become a Partner in Mission
The Apostle Paul called the coming of Jesus Christ as “in the fullness of time” in order to redeem us and make us children of God (Gal. 4:4-5). There is no better time than now to transform the Hmong community for Jesus Christ. As the Hmong elders and leaders are passing, the dawn of a new era has come. Let’s make the most of opportunities (Gal. 6:9-10). Who will reach out to them? Who will answer the call? Who will be a partner in mission?
Twelve people answered Jesus’ call and the world has never become the same again. There were one hundred twenty people on the Day of Pentecost who prayed and the church was born. There were Twelve Tribes of Israel who became a nation of God holy people. Together these peoples transformed the world. NHC calls for all our Hmong United Methodists and others for your partnership to help transform the Hmong community for Jesus Christ. Below are ways you can help to make it happens:
Rev. Tsuchue Vang, Missionary Director
Rev. Tsuker is a long time Hmong United Methodist whose heart has been devoted to the Hmong United Methodist Church for the past 25 years as pastor. He is a graduate of Cincinnati Christian University and Garrett Evangelical Theological Seminary and an ordained elder of the Wisconsin Annual Conference. The Ministry/Mission Plan
Send a Missionary -- Someone in the US who will lead the way serving as missionary/church planter and director of the National Hmong Caucus.
US Mission -- Going to every city with sizeable Hmong population (US Hmong in diaspora) for evangelization and starting new churches.
Congregation Revitalization—Strengthening existing congregations and ministries for congregation vitality and sustainability through leadership and resource development, pastoral and lay trainings, joint/networking ministries, fellowship, consultation and communication.
Oversea Mission -- Sending mission volunteers, developing new mission opportunities and sponsoring or supporting GBGM’s mission initiatives and projects in the Hmong community (Laos, Vietnam, Thailand and others).
Training Hmong pastors in Vietnam and Laos. NHC is partnering with General Board of Global Ministries and mission initiatives in Laos and Vietnam to train Hmong pastors. Please pray for God's mission to the Hmong in Vietnam and Laos. With God's help, the Vision 2020 for Hmong UMC is to have 300 churches in Vietnam.
